Laurens County Sheriff’s Office – 2022 Year in Review

2023 is here and while many are making New Year’s resolutions, it’s also good to look back at the prior year. The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office has done just that.

Here is a look at the work of the Laurens County Sheriff’s office in 2022 by the numbers:

  • 37,5033 Calls for Service – when a uniformed patrol deputy responds to a call
  • 4,644 Animal Control Calls
  • 7,525 Civil Service Calls – evictions, child support, and service of court documents

Laurens County has a total area of 724 square miles and much of it is covered by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office. The county is divided into five zones with the Sheriff’s office covering all zones with the exception of four municipalities; Clinton, Fountain Inn, Laurens and Ware Shoals.

The Laurens County Sheriff’s office has a total of 20 uniformed, 4 civil process servers, and 4 animal control/litter deputies. Average response time was 22.34 minutes.
