Laurens County Sheriff’s Office seeks vendors, sponsors for annual K9 fundraiser
August 3, 2026The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office is inviting vendors, business sponsors and raffle prize donors to take part in its annual K9 fundraiser, set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Tractor Supply Co., 917 E. Main St. in Laurens.
There is no vendor fee for the event. Instead, the sheriff’s office asks that participating vendors make a donation to the K9 program the day of the event. The food vendor slot has already been filled.
The fundraiser is planned as a family event and will include a live K9 demonstration at noon, giving attendees a look at how the four-legged deputies train and work alongside their handlers.
Money raised through the event supports the K9 unit’s training, equipment and ongoing care.
“Our K9s are working deputies, and keeping them ready costs money,” Sheriff Don Reynolds said. “The support we get from local businesses and families is what keeps this unit strong, and we are grateful for every bit of it.”
Public Information Officer Courtney Snow said the day is built around community participation.
“Whether you set up a booth, sponsor the event or donate a raffle item, you are helping take care of these dogs,” Snow said. “We would love to have as many local vendors and businesses out there as we can.”
Those interested in participating as a vendor, becoming a sponsor or donating a raffle item can call 864-681-4509 or email [email protected].
