Laurens County Sheriff’s Office to Host ‘Fill the Cruiser’ School Supply Drive
June 28, 2026The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office will host its “Fill the Cruiser” school supply collection drive on Friday, July 10, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Laurens Chick-fil-A.
The drive will be held at the restaurant located at 917 E. Main Street in Laurens. The event is for drop off only, and community members are invited to stop by throughout the morning to donate new school supplies.
Organizers are seeking the following items:
- Bookbags (clear and regular)
- Notebooks
- Packs of paper
- Pencils and erasers
- Sharpeners
- Folders
- Binders
- Graph paper
- Glue
- Highlighters and markers
- Crayons
- Colored pencils
- Pens
“Every child deserves to walk into the classroom on the first day feeling ready and confident,” said Courtney Snow, public information officer for Community Services. “This drive is a simple way for our community to come together and make sure no student starts the year without the supplies they need.”
Supplies collected during the drive will be distributed at the Back to School Bash on July 24.
