Laurens County Touchdown Club to Honor 2024 Football Standouts at Annual Awards Banquet

The Laurens County Chamber of Commerce Touchdown Club will host its annual TD Club Awards Banquet on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at The Ridge. This highly anticipated event will celebrate the exceptional football talent of the 2024 season in Laurens County.
The banquet will highlight several prestigious awards, including the TD Club Player of the Year and Coach of the Year. Finalists for Player of the Year include Garrett Murphy of Laurens Academy, Tushawan Richardson of Clinton High School, and Javaye Suber of Laurens District High School. The Coach of the Year contenders are Coach Jolly Doolittle, Coach Corey Fountain, and Coach Greg Porter.
Additionally, the Lakelands FCA Character Award winners will be recognized for their exemplary leadership and character. Honorees include Nathan Bell (Laurens Academy), Noah Garrett (Clinton High School), Noah Roberts (Laurens District High School), and Warner Bush (Presbyterian College).
Former Clemson football star and 2023 SC Football Hall of Fame ‘Humanitarian of the Year,’ Brian Mance, will deliver the keynote address. Mance’s inspiring journey as a player, coach, and philanthropist promises to be a highlight of the evening.
The Touchdown Club has also revealed the 2024 All-County Team, which includes standout athletes from Laurens Academy, Clinton High School, and Laurens District High School. The roster is as follows:

- Wide Receivers: Devin Swindler (Clinton High School), Brayden Patterson (Laurens District High School)
- Offensive Line: Hack Hardy (Laurens Academy), Tre Aiken (Clinton High School), Rion Gordon (Clinton High School), Cal Pitts (Clinton High School), Hunter Lawson (Clinton High School)
