Why Member Participation Matters
In a message to members, President and CEO Matthew Stanley emphasized the importance of co-op participation, noting that member input shapes decisions on substation construction, cybersecurity efforts and economic development partnerships. As an electric cooperative, Laurens Electric is member-owned, meaning the Board of Trustees works directly on behalf of the community it serves.
