District 56 will begin administering rapid COVID testing on Thursday, January 7th.
The school district will utilize a drive thru testing site at MS Bailey. Testing is available for District 56 students and staff who exhibit symptoms of COVID.
Those wanting to be tested must first have an appointment. Parents of symptomatic children should call 864-833-0836 to schedule an appointment. The test will be offered at no cost to the person being tested.
Parental consent will be required, and parents will be responsible for swabbing students under nurse supervision. Results of the test will be available within 15 minutes and those being tested will remain onsite until the results come back.
