LC First Steps to Offer Free Course – Parents as Teachers (PAT), Partnering with Teen Parents

Laurens County First Steps invites expectant mothers/fathers and young parents (21 years old or younger) to enroll in a no cost, but full of benefits Parents as Teachers – Partnering with Teen Parents program. The goals of Parents as Teachers is to improve positive birth outcomes and children’s readiness for kindergarten.
To learn more about becoming your child’s first and most important teacher, please attend one of two free information sessions:
The program will be held on Monday, November 21 with two times available; 12:30 pm or at 5:30 pm. The event will be held at the Laurens County First Steps Office located at 1029 West Main Street in Laurens
