LCDC Holds HR Roundtable Discussion

On Wednesday, June 29th, the Laurens County Development Corporation (LCDC) hosted an HR Roundtable for over 32 HR representatives and leaders from local industries, utilities, educational institutions, and city and county government entities. Topics covered included: recruiting and retention of employees, wages, benefits, and sharing of best practices.

HR and workforce specialists from Burr & Forman, MAU Workforce Solutions, and the S.C. Department of Commerce were on hand to share insight, answer questions, as well as share possibly new and creative ways to attract and retain employees. As times and needs change, LCDC hopes to gather everyone together again in a few months for another summit or discussion.
