LCDC Holds Open House and Office Ribbon Cutting

December 7, 2022

The Laurens County Development Corporation (LCDC) moved into their new space on the Square in Laurens back in April but made it official with a ribbon cutting and open house on Tuesday afternoon.

A large crowd of supporters including board members, local elected officials, business leaders and strategic partners were on hand to celebrate the new space and kick off the holiday season.  The reception was catered by Rootimentary, the new restaurant that just opened on the Square and Palmetto Brothers Dispensary provided selections of beer.

The new LCDC space is conveniently located upstairs above Courthouse Coffee. The floor plan is open with great use of space for collaboration with Laurens County businesses and prospective industry contacts.

“We were so pleased to have over 65 guests come out to our ribbon cutting and help us kick off the holiday season. We have really enjoyed our new office spot on the Square and were excited to show it off while also sharing a taste of our newest restaurant and supporting other friends and neighbors like Palmetto Brothers.” -Whitney Lagrange, Director of Marketing, LCDC.
