LCSD 55 New Student School Registration in Full Swing

Where did the summer go?

With the first day of school just around the corner (August 17th), parents preparing to send new students to LCSD 55 for the 2021-2022 school year are encouraged to bring all documents to register students at the school in their attendance area.

Who should register?

1. Students who will be attending half-day kindergarten for 3-year olds. (Child must be 3 on or before September 1, 2021.)
2. Students who will be attending whole-day or half-day kindergarten for 4-year olds. (Child must be 4 on or before September 1, 2021.)
3. Students who will be attending whole day kindergarten for 5-year olds. (Child must be 5 on or before September 1, 2021).
4. Students who will be attending District 55 schools for the first time.

Bring the following documents when registering your child:

1. Child’s Birth Certificate from the Health Department (not the hospital issued certificate)
2. Child’s Immunization Record
3. Child’s Medicaid Card, if eligible
