LCSO Bloodhound Sandy Retires

September 4, 2020

I would like to take this time to inform everyone that our Bloodhound Sandy is now retired.

Sandy has been a hardworking and vital team member to this office for nearly 8 years. From tracking robbery suspects to trailing missing children, Sandy has proven to be invaluable time and time again.

I would like to thank Sandy’s handler, Investigator Haupfear, for his dedication to her and her well-being. Sandy will certainly be missed, but I know that Bloodhound Maggie will be an essential addition to the team as well. Sandy will reside with her handler.

We wish her well and thank her for her service to Laurens County.

Sincerely,
Sheriff Don Reynolds
