Leadership Charleston Announces Class of 2015

September 3, 2014

CHARLESTON, SC – Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Charleston, a highly sought professional development opportunity established in 1974, is proud to announce the Class of 2015.

Leadership Charleston focuses on the primary issues facing our region, including crime, infrastructure, workforce development and business advocacy. As the 41st Leadership Charleston class, participants hear from prominent speakers, including alumni and regional leaders, during programs designed to enhance civic knowledge while developing the necessary skills to assume leadership roles.

Upon graduating in June 2015, participants will become members of Leadership Charleston Alumni, boasting an impressive group of leaders, including Chamber Board of Directors, elected officials and prominent local leaders. One alumni, South Carolina Speaker of the House Bobby Harrell, recently discussed the importance of Leadership Charleston, “It is a great program for growing leaders, for getting people involved, for making sure that folks who will be the leaders in the years to come know what is going on in our community and around the state.”
