Leadership Columbia Announces 2013 Committee Members

Neil Jones to Chair Columbia Leadership Program
 
COLUMBIA, SC – August 29, 2012 – Leadership Columbia, a program created and managed by the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, has announced its 2013 Leadership Columbia committee. As graduates of the Leadership Columbia program, these select members will serve the committee for a 15-month term.
 
The committee will work alongside the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce to provide existing and emerging local leaders with opportunities to enhance their civic knowledge and network, while developing the skills necessary to assume leadership roles and exposing them to involvement opportunities in the community. The committee will also maintain oversight of the annual Leadership Columbia program in partnership with the Leadership Columbia Alumni Association.
 
Developing effective leaders is essential to the continued growth and improvement of our community, said Greater Columbia Chamber President and CEO Ike McLeese. We are excited to welcome both the new and returning LC committee members. This group represents individuals who are willing to put their time into this necessary effort while increasing communication and collaboration among existing and emerging leaders in the Columbia region.
