Leadership Discovery announces Spring 2020 graduates

August 20, 2020

The Charleston Metro Chamber is pleased to announce and congratulate the graduates of the Spring 2020 Leadership Discovery class. Leadership Discovery is an innovative, skills-based leadership development program that allows participants the opportunity to learn from experienced executives in the Charleston region.

The Spring 2020 Leadership Discovery program featured a DiSC workshop with Positively People, six mentor sessions and concluded on August 18 with a three-course business etiquette dinner led by Cynthia Grosso of Charleston School of Protocol.

“Leadership Discovery exposed me to authentic leaders that were transparent about their highs and lows, which helped me understand that leadership is really a journey you take,” said Spring 2020 participant Eva Singleton. “It assured me that I am where I’m supposed to be in my leadership journey – not because I am perfect or have arrived, but because I am willing and committed to positive influence no matter what.”

The Spring 2020 program featured an impressive lineup of presenters, providing participants with the opportunity to connect with and learn from some of the region’s top leaders. This session’s mentors included:

Participants in Leadership Discovery received personalized DiSC assessments by Jean Meeks-Koch, Ph.D., CEO and Founder of Positively People. During monthly sessions, they honed their personal and professional skills and heard personal leadership stories and unique perspectives from the mentors.
