Learning One offering free computer classes

Local residents wanting to improve their computer skills can get help from Lexington County School District One.

The district’s Adult Education program is offering free computer classes throughout the fall. All classes will be held at Rosenwald Community Learning Center at 420 Hendrix St. in Lexington from 6 to 9 p.m.

The schedule for Session 1 is as follows:

• September 8 — Computer Basics
• September 22 — Microsoft Word
• September 29 — Microsoft Excel
• October 6 — Microsoft PowerPoint

The schedule for Session 2 is as follows:

• October 13 — Computer Basics
• October 27 — Microsoft Word
• November 3 — Microsoft Excel
• November 10 — Microsoft PowerPoint
