May 26, 2026

Record-breaking graduating class achieved college acceptances at institutions across the nation, including 17 scholars receiving associate degrees, and many receiving full-ride scholarships

Legacy Early College held its Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, May 21, at 5:00 p.m. at Bob Jones University, to celebrate their graduates. Seventeen scholars received associate degrees, with some earning two degrees. Legacy Early College Founder and CEO William Brown delivered remarks, and the commencement address was given by Ray Lattimore, Founder and President/CEO of Marketplace Professional Staffing and Chairman of the Greenville Technical College Area Commission.

Of the 89 graduates, 81 accepted college offers at institutions including Davidson College, Furman University, Clemson University, the College of Charleston, the University of South Carolina, USC Upstate, Winthrop University, Presbyterian College, and more. Legacy Advancement provided scholarship funding to make attending college more attainable. Legacy Advancement also provides scholarship support to all scholars who meet certain standards as they progress through college.

“The ZIP code you grow up in does not determine your educational outcome. These 89 graduates are proof of that,” said William Brown, Founder and CEO, Legacy Early College. “These are kids who have possibilities far beyond anyone’s imagination. We are the school where children can change their lives, and that’s exactly what this class did.”
