Les Dames D’Escoffier Charleston Chapter presents virtual Dame Demo: “FAR EAST MEETS MIDDLE EAST”

WHO: The Charleston Chapter of Les Dames D’Escoffier (LDEI), a worldwide philanthropic society of professional women leaders in the fields of food, fine beverage and hospitality, is marrying two cultures and traditions with a virtual Dame Demo entitled “FAR EAST MEETS MIDDLE EAST.”

WHAT: Dame Amanee Neirouz and Dame Kelly Chu will each demonstrate a creative dish that combines both of their ancestral homelands.

About Amanee Neirouz:
Following her move to Charleston in 2005, and over a decade’s worth of impressive work, Amanee currently leads Ms. Rose’s Fine food and Cocktails as operations manager. She oversees catering functions, manages teams, streamlines operations and handles administrative duties.

About Kelly Chu:
Kelly opened Red Orchids China Bistro with her husband Tony in the autumn of 2002, taking on family-style Chinese American cuisine. Red Orchids has achieved many accolades as being the best of Charleston since 2003. Kelly is also the founder of micro-creamery Cirsea, which has won praise for its creative flavors of frozen treats. In 2017, she was named by the James Beard Foundation as North American representative to the World Gelato Tour, a worldwide gelato competition.
