Levi named 2026 ACEC-SC Young Professional of the Year
June 30, 2026The American Council of Engineering Companies of South Carolina (ACEC-SC) has named Julia Levi of Carolina Transportation Engineers & Associates (CarolinaTEA) as its 2026 Young Professional of the Year.
The award was presented June 5 during the South Carolina Engineering Conference & Trade Show and recognizes an individual under age 39 who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, professional achievement, community involvement and dedication to advancing the engineering profession.
Levi serves as Director of Business Development for CarolinaTEA, where she became the first person to hold the role and has transformed the firm’s approach to business development, marketing, proposals and client engagement. Her efforts have helped elevate the company’s visibility throughout South Carolina and contributed to significant growth in proposal success and brand recognition.
A graduate of Winthrop University with a master’s degree in transformational leadership, Levi is also a dedicated advocate for the engineering profession. She currently serves as chair of the ACEC-SC Communications Committee and has played an active role in strategic planning, advocacy initiatives and industry outreach efforts.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Levi serves as First Vice Chair of Ten at the Top and helps lead the organization’s annual PIQUE Young Professionals Conference. She also mentors justice-involved youth through Lead Collective’s REACH program and supports organizations focused on youth development and human trafficking prevention.
