June 25, 2025Presented by Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation
The Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center is proud to announce the launch of its newest initiative, Community Conversations, a monthly series spotlighting a community leader who is making a substantial difference across the Midlands.
Presented by Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation, the first quarter will focus on our region’s educational institutions, showcasing how initiatives in career training and public and higher education are strengthening our region and cultivating long-term success for students and residents.
The series will offer attendees a dynamic, behind-the-scenes look at several of our region’s educational institutions and how they are empowering students with the skills and knowledge they need to become engaged and productive citizens. These one-hour sessions will be enlightening and informative.
“We’re excited to offer this series for our members and the community,” said Angelle LaBorde, President & CEO of the Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center. “Through Community Conversations, attendees can connect with these key leaders and understand how their organizations are significantly contributing to our region’s progress.”
The inaugural event will feature Dr. Gregory Little, President and CEO of Midlands Technical College, who will share insights into the institution’s role in advancing workforce readiness and educational accessibility throughout the Midlands. The Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center will host its first session on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Chamber’s office (311 W. Main St., Lexington, SC 29072).
