Lexington District One offers summer food service program

This summer, Lexington County School District One again participates in the Summer Food Service Program, a free summer food service program for children 18-years-old and younger. The program runs Monday through Thursday, June 5–July 27, 2017.
Meals are provided at Rosenwald Community Learning Center and Forts Pond Elementary, Gilbert High, Red Bank Elementary, River Bluff High and White Knoll Middle schools.
The program, federally funded by the United States Department of Agriculture and administered through the S.C. Department of Education and Lexington County School District One, provides and serves meals to children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. All meals meet federal nutrition standards, must be eaten on site and are provided on a first come, first served basis.
Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 9 a.m., while lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m.
