Lexington District One promotes DiBiase to White Knoll Elementary assistant administrator

LEXINGTON, SC – During the June 28, 2016, regular monthly meeting of the Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees, board members approved the hiring of Angelo DiBiase as assistant administrator of White Knoll Elementary School.

DiBiase comes to WKES after three years at Lexington Middle School, where he has worked as a school counselor since 2013.

A P.E. teacher at St. Peter’s Catholic School in Columbia during the 2005–2006 school year, DiBiase took on the duties of the assistant athletic director at Cardinal Newman that same year, continuing in that role until 2007.

After working as a P.E. teacher and coach at Thomas Sumter Academy in Dalzell, South Carolina, from 2009 to 2012, DiBiase completed internships at Carolina Springs Middle in Lexington District One and Round Top Elementary School in Richland School District Two.

DiBiase is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management. He has earned a Master of Education in K–12 School Counseling from South Carolina State University and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.

DiBiase is a member of the Palmetto State School Counselor Association (PSSCA) and the American School Counselor Association (ASCA).
