Lexington District One students can receive meals on virtual, e-learning days

Beginning Aug. 31, 2020, Lexington County School District One will not only offer meals to students during their days at school but also offer meals to students attending school virtually.

AA BB Students

AA BB students will receive three breakfast and three lunch meals to take home for their virtual learning days.

AA BB students may pick up meals for those meals at the end of their last face-to-face school day.

AA will pick up at the end of day Tuesday. BB will pick up at the end of the day Thursday.

Students in the Online Learning Academy

Online Learning Academy students can pick up five breakfast and five lunch meals each Friday between 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at one of the district’s five designated drive through locations (Carolina Springs Middle, Forts Pond Elementary, Gilbert Elementary, Oak Grove Elementary or White Knoll Elementary).

Online Learning Academy families MUST complete this food order form by 6 p.m. each Tuesday of the week if they plan to pick up meals. regularly scheduled school days

Because of the Labor Day holiday, no meal will be provided for Monday, September 7.

The United States Department of Agriculture approved the plan which allows the district to serve meals to students while they are virtually learning outside of the school. The cost of the meal depends on the child’s approved meal status. To see if you qualify for free or reduced cost meals, please apply here.
