Lexington Medical Center Welcomes Naveed Iqbal, MD to Lexington Endocrindology

WEST COLUMBIA, SC – Lexington Medical Center is pleased to welcome Naveed Iqbal, MD to the hospital’s network of care. Dr. Iqbal has joined Lexington Endocrinology to provide comprehensive medical care that preserves the quality of life of patients with diabetes and other endocrine disorders.

After earning his medical degree, Dr. Iqbal completed an internal medicine residency at University Health Center of Pittsburgh, Pa. He went on to complete fellowship training in endocrinology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and a nephrology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He most recently served as a staff nephrologist and endocrinologist in Hartsville.

A diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Endocrinology and the American Board of Nephrology, Dr. Iqbal is also a member of the American Society of Nephrology, the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Clinical Endocrinologists, among others.

Lexington Endocrinology specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of endocrine issues including thyroid disorders and cancer, osteoporosis, pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders, and complete diabetes care, education and management including insulin pump therapy. The practice is pleased to offer an in-house laboratory and ultrasound services.
