Lexington Medical Center will become in-network provider for South Carolina Health Insurance Marketplace plans in 2020

Lexington Medical Center announced that the hospital and its physician practices will be in-network with two South Carolina Health Insurance Marketplace plans, beginning January 1, 2020. The plans are sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and Molina HealthCare of South Carolina.
The South Carolina Health Insurance Marketplace is part of the Affordable Care Act, which became federal law in 2010. The ACA led to the creation of health insurance marketplaces in each state.
Open enrollment for the South Carolina Health Insurance Marketplace will take place from now until December 15, 2019. To learn about health insurance options in the marketplace, visit www.healthcare.gov.
