Big changes are coming for library patrons in Clinton. The Clinton Library, currently located next to Ace Hardware on Jacobs Highway, will officially close its doors on April 14 as staff prepare to move into the brand-new Clinton Library building at 304 W. Pitts Street.

To ensure a smooth transition, all Clinton Library programs and services will be paused until April 28. This temporary pause includes access to printing, scanning, faxing, and notary services. Patrons are encouraged to use the Laurens Main Library during this period, where programs and services will continue without interruption.

For those who still need to print from a phone or device during the closure, the library recommends using [email protected].

The community is invited to celebrate the exciting next chapter at the Grand Opening of the new Clinton Library on Sunday, April 27 at 3:00 PM. Until then, residents are encouraged to stay up to date by visiting the library’s websiteand to keep enjoying favorite offerings like Wednesday Storytime at the Laurens Main Library.
