Light Up Learning with Firefly Fun at the Laurens Library

May 6, 2025

Get ready for a glowing good time! The Laurens County Public Library invites children ages 6 to 10 to join a special Kids Club event on Monday, May 12 at 4:00 PM, where science and creativity come together in a fun and interactive way.

During this hands-on STEM program, participants will craft their own light-up firefly models and explore the fascinating science behind bioluminescence—the natural glow that makes fireflies sparkle on summer nights.

The event is free and open to all children in the age group. Space may be limited, so early arrival is encouraged.
