Lima One Capital named to prestigious Vet100 list

January 30, 2020

Lima One Capital has been honored as one of the nation’s fastest growing veteran-owned companies by the Vet100 list.

The Vet100 is a list compiled by Inc. Magazine and the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) at Syracuse University to honor the most successful veteran-owned companies in the United States. Lima One is the only South Carolina business to earn a spot on the list for 2019.

Founded in 2011, Lima One is the nation’s premier lender for real estate investors. The name Lima One comes from the founders’ call sign when they served in Ramadi, Iraq. The company showcases the influence of military service through office décor and conference room names, and more importantly through the core values and hiring practices that have helped the company double in loan production year over year for three consecutive years.

“Lima One Capital’s entire culture stems from the fact that we were founded by Marines. We’re committed to honor this legacy by empowering real estate investors across the United States to improve their neighborhoods by offering quality housing options created by fix and flip projects, rental housing, and multifamily properties,” said John Thompson, COO and Co-Founder of Lima One.
