April 23, 2024

Excitement is brewing as Laurens gears up for its annual Sip & Stroll event this Friday, kicking off the It’s Finally Friday series. This year promises a delightful evening of wine tasting, live music, and community spirit, but with a twist—attendees must secure their tickets in advance.

In a departure from previous years, tickets for Sip & Stroll will not be available for purchase at the event or on the day itself. To ensure you don’t miss out on this exclusive experience, click HERE  before Thursday at midnight to secure your spot.

Craig Scharton, Director of Main Street Laurens, emphasized the importance of purchasing tickets early, stating, “We encourage everyone to plan ahead and get their tickets in advance. This helps us ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.”

This year’s Sip & Stroll promises an array of experiences for wine enthusiasts and music lovers alike. With 28 wines to choose from—ranging from sweet to dry to semi—courtesy of four local wineries, there’s a flavor for every palate. The evening will also feature live entertainment by David E. and The Band Levelz, treating attendees to soulful R&B and oldies beginning at 6:00 PM.

Attendees can collect their wine glasses (sponsored by Thomas Mechanical), maps, and wristbands at Sarabeth Jordan Boutique at 100 S. Public Square starting at 5:30 PM. The tastings will commence promptly at 6:00 PM, allowing ample time to savor the offerings while enjoying the pleasant forecasted weather.

It’s Finally Friday, presented by PRTC and Main Street Laurens, epitomizes the spirit of community and celebration in downtown Laurens. The series of events aims to showcase and celebrate the local amenities and culture that make Laurens a vibrant destination.

Remember, tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance. Don’t miss out on this evening of wine, music, shopping, and community. Secure your spot today at mainstreetlaurens.org and get ready to sip, stroll, and savor the best of Laurens!
