January 23, 2020

The smooth sounds of jazz from the past are coming back to Richland Library for one night. Join us for 100 Years of Jazz by the Ben Rosenblum Jazz Trio from 7 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 4 at our Main location (1431 Assembly Street). The live concert is free and open to the public. It features award-winning New York City jazz pianist and accordionist Ben Rosenblum along with drummer Ben Zweig and bassist Dan Chmielinski.

A featured soloist at Carnegie Hall’s Stern-Perelman Auditorium, Rosenblum has appeared at prestigious venues throughout the world, including the Appel Room at Lincoln Center, Kuumbwa Jazz Center, Ravinia, Himawari-No-Sato Concert Hall in Yokohama, and the Library of Congress.

His second album, River City, was recently called “richly romantic” and “well-realized” by JAZZIZ Magazine, which presented the title track as part of its fall 2018 CD.
