Liz Ashley, M.A., joins Positively People™

Positively People™ a team of consultants based in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., that works with family enterprises to bring out the best in people, teams, and companies, brought on Liz Ashley. M.A., in fall of 2019 and has since named her as senior consultant.

In her role as a member of the leadership team, Ashley serves as a crucial team lead both in multi-generational family transitions and corporate environments. Ashley combines positive leadership coaching, soft skill development, and behavioral assessment as she supports clients in building cohesive teams.

Before joining Positively People, Ashley served as head of business development, operations and sales at Moneypenny, a virtual receptionist service.  Previously, she served as a content acquisition manager for a subsidiary of Amazon.  Before that, she was regional sales manager at Hilti, where she co-founded Hilti’s diversity and inclusion committee.  Prior to that, she was sales development director at Tempur-Pedic. She held the post of sales and education executive at Estee Lauder, Origins brand, where she was recognized as sales manager of the year in 2009.

Ashley is currently a member of the Maritime Association of South Carolina, where she volunteers to facilitate monthly strategic meetings for women in the maritime industry. She’s an active member of the Women Entrepreneurs of Charleston.  Ashley volunteers for Earth Heart Growers, a program devoted to educating youth on sustainable living and is also a certified Hatha Yoga instructor.

Originally from Fullerton, Calif., Ashley earned a bachelor’s degree in international politics from Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pa., and a master’s degree in sociology from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.  She currently resides in West Ashley.
