LMSPI to Present at GSATC Breakfast Briefing

April 21, 2009

GREENVILLE, SC – April 21, 2009   Lean Manufacturing Solutions Partnership, Inc. (LMSPI), a regional Lean Manufacturing Implementation Resource, will host the Greenville Spartanburg Anderson Technology Council (GSATC) Breakfast Briefing on Thursday, April 30.  The breakfast will be held at Soby’s Restaurant in downtown Greenville from 7:45 am to 9:15 am.

The special Breakfast Briefing topic, Strategic Improvements: Getting the Most Out of What You Have, will focus on the principles and implementation of strategic improvements to help position companies for greater long-term success.  Aaron Styles, LMSPI’s VP of Operations, will be the guest speaker.  Aaron is a production system development specialist with 22 years of experience in classical industrial engineering, Lean manufacturing deployment, production system design, simultaneous engineering, manufacturing operations, and supply chain development.

In today’s economy, the impact of extreme change and the tyranny of the urgent has taken many executives’ eye off the ball.  Aaron Styles will introduce executives and managers in manufacturing to the foundation of Toyota’s improvement direction setting and direction controlling process, called Hoshin Kanri, states Jason Manarchuck, LMSPI’s Director of New Business Development.  We are available to visit with interested manufacturers at no cost to demonstrate the opportunities for improvement at their site on select days around the event.

Tickets for the Breakfast Briefing are $10 and can be purchased at http://gsatc200904bb.eventbrite.com/ or visit LMSPI’s home page www.LMSPI.com.
