May 20, 2020

FLORENCE, SC – The Blood Connection (TBC), a local non-profit, community blood center is now staging mobile blood drives out of its new operations hub in Florence, SC. This milestone comes shortly after the organization began hosting blood drives in the community, which support local hospitals.

“We are excited to take this next step in deepening the roots of our organization here in Florence,” said Delisa English, President and CEO of TBC. “TBC is grateful for the support of this community and we are looking forward to further growth here.”

The newest operations hub for the organization will serve blood drives in Florence, Little River, Grand Strand, and most of the surrounding area. TBC’s other operations hubs are in Greenville, SC, Charleston, SC and Raleigh, NC. TBC says the operations hub is just the beginning, as it is also working to open a blood donation center in Florence later this year.
