Local Lowcountry Wells Fargo team members participate in Community Service Super Saturday

May 20, 2019

More than 1,300 Wells Fargo team members celebrated National Volunteer Month in April by volunteering 5,000 hours with nearly 90 nonprofits across the Southeast. The mass volunteer effort is part of Wells Fargo’s Community Service “Super Saturday,” an annual initiative that inspires thousands of team members and friends to participate in many volunteer activities across several Southeast cities in a single day.

In the Lowcountry, more than 100 team members volunteered nearly 300 hours at several nonprofits on April 27. From cleaning marshes with the Charleston Surfrider Foundation to building a wheelchair ramp with Operation Home to serving breakfast at the Ronald McDonald House to helping the Cane Bay YMCA with their grand opening, team members made an impact in the local community.
