Location Change for City of Clinton Veterans Day Program

Due to the forecast of heavy rain on Friday, the City of Clinton Veterans Day Program which was scheduled to be held outside will now be held at Broad Street United Methodist Church (310 N. Broad Street) in the Cunningham Center.
The program will begin at 1:00 pm and include special music remarks from South Carolina Senator Danny Verdin and keynote speaker, Brigadier General Robin Stilwell and presentations to three local Veterans.
“Veterans Day is a special day to recognize and honor those who have served our Country,” said Mayor Bob McLean. “Clinton has many Veterans among our residents, and we look forward to a program that will honor them and all who served.”
All in the community are encouraged to attend this event to celebrate our Veterans.
