Logisticus Group continues to grow with promotion of long-time employee

Logisticus Group (LG), a transportation logistics, project management and technology company, promotes long-term employee Travis Richardson to Operations Director. Richardson will be leading efforts to manage on-going projects across the country.
“Travis was one of our early hires when he joined us two years after we opened our doors,” said Will Stephan, founder of Logisticus Group. “He started his journey with us as a field operative and site logistics manager, but ended up wearing many hats to help us grow the company. We are thrilled to be able to promote from within and give our employees every opportunity to move up.”
In his previous role, Richardson was responsible for coordinating all aspects of site logistics from wind turbine transportation to inventory tracking to handling operations. He had to troubleshoot any on-site activity and proactively implement solutions for any given project. Prior to joining LG, he worked as a project/logistics manager at Bonsai Design. He also served in a warehouse operations position with both MOOG Music out of Asheville and Warehouse Services, Inc.
“I have been with Logisticus Group for almost 7 years. I have had a chance to learn all aspects of the operations side of the company and am grateful for the opportunity to oversee operations,” said Richardson.
Richardson graduated from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. Outside of the office, he enjoys running outdoors and looks forward to completing the cabin he’s been building.
