Lourie Center Announces Award Recipient

COLUMBIA, SC – The Lourie Center announces Charles Beaman and the programs of Palmetto Health as the award recipient for the first Senator Isadore E. Lourie Award for Excellence in Service to Seniors. The award will be presented at a luncheon ceremony on Thursday April 23, 2015 at 12 noon at the Lourie Center. All of the outstanding nominees for the award will also be recognized at the ceremony.

Nominations were open to individuals, companies or community groups that have made a significant impact on the lives of South Carolina seniors.

“It is a privilege to provide an opportunity for our community to recognize the compassionate work of Palmetto Health and so many individuals who spend each day working to enhance the quality of life for South Carolina seniors” said Mary Kessler, Executive Director of the Lourie Center.
