Lowcountry Parrot Head Club presents the 13th Annual Mardi Crawl

Come “Party with a Purpose” on Saturday, February 25, on Shem Creek
The Lowcountry Parrot Head Club is set to host the 13th Annual Mardi Crawl on Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant on Saturday, February 25. Over the past 12 years, this annual event has fulfilled its mission to “party with a purpose,” raising more than $115,000 for local charities. This year, proceeds from the event benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of South Carolina, Pet Helpers and other local charitable organizations.
Registration begins at noon at three locations on Shem Creek: Red’s Ice House, which will accept cash and credit card registration along with Vickery’s Bar & Grill and The Shelter – both will accept cash only for registration. Starting at 1 pm, attendees will travel to each of the participating restaurants on foot or by complimentary shuttle or water taxi where they can participate in interactive games, enjoy food and drink specials and catch live entertainment before moving on to the next restaurant. After the crawl, The Dave Landeo Band and Three Sheets Island Band will perform on the dock at Red’s Ice House from 5pm-9pm.
Participating restaurants include Red’s Ice House, Vickery’s Bar and Grill, Shem Creek Bar & Grill, RB’s, The Shelter Kitchen & Bar and a new participant this year- The Wreck. Registration is available for $25 in advance at LCParrotHeads.org or $30 the day of the event. The registration price includes a short sleeve event t-shirt and a commemorative koozie. For an additional $10, pre-registered attendees have the option of replacing their short sleeve commemorative t-shirt with a long sleeve t-shirt. This option is only available to those who pre-register before Saturday, February 11.
This year, The Quality Inn & Suites at Patriot’s Point will serve as the event’s host hotel, offering a special discounted room rate of $99 per night for Mardi Crawl attendees.
