Lowcountry Women’s Specialists welcomes Dr. Miles Reeves

Lowcountry Women’s Specialists welcomes Summerville-native, Dr. Miles Reeves to their OB/GYN practice. Dr. Reeves provides comprehensive OB/GYN services, including routine wellness visits, high-risk pregnancy management, and minimally-invasive surgery and obstetrics in both the Summerville and Carnes Crossroads offices.

Dr. Reeves was the Valedictorian of his class at Pinewood Preparatory School, and is a graduate of Clemson University. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Reeves enjoys relaxing with friends and family at home or on the water, golf, fishing, volunteering, and has won multiple karaoke contests. In July 2021, he and his fiancee India, a nurse practitioner in emergency and family medicine, married, and they are making their home in Carnes Crossroads. Dr. Reeves is the son of longtime Lowcountry Women’s Specialists physician and community leader, Dr. William “Bo” Reeves and Lee Reeves. His sisters Molly and Gracie are both local school teachers.

Lowcountry Women’s Specialists has been “Taking Care of Women” in the Lowcountry for over 30 years, providing comprehensive OB/GYN care, high-risk pregnancy management, 3-D ultrasound, in-house hysteroscopic and colposcopy procedures with self-administered nitrous oxide anesthesia, and minimally-invasive surgery and obstetrics. The team of administrators, medical professionals and the practice’s 7 physicians – Dr. Christopher Accetta, Dr. Martha Cohen, Dr. Jennifer Heinemann, Dr. Christine Hunter, Dr. Ronnie Givens, Dr. William “Bo” Reeves, and Dr. Hunter Smith – are deeply committed to their patients and the Lowcountry community. Responding to the changing needs of patients and introducing the latest, proven technology and practices, while maintaining a family-like atmosphere, is a priority for the practice. In 2021, Lowcountry Women’s Specialists joined Unified Women’s Healthcare, the leading physician practice management company dedicated exclusively to women’s healthcare. The practice serves patients at locations in Carnes Crossroads and Summerville, and delivers babies at the Women and Children’s Center at Summerville Medical Center and Roper Saint Francis Berkeley Hospital.
