LS3P’S Bria Prioleau Wigfall wins AIA South Carolina Associates Award

October 22, 2020

LS3P is pleased to congratulate Columbia’s Bria Prioleau Wigfall, Associate AIA, APA, on winning the 2020 American Institute of Architects (AIA) South Carolina Associates Award. This distinction recognizes Associate AIA members who have proven to be outstanding leaders and creative thinkers while making significant contributions to their communities and the architecture profession. Wigfall was nominated for the award by Columbia Office Leader Mary Beth Sims Branham, AIA.

LS3P Columbia Studio Leader Allen R. Taylor, AIA, LEED BD+C, GGP, believes Wigfall’s profound commitment to serving the profession has led her to embrace community engagement on various levels of her work. “She is an eager learner and mentor; in her kind and passionate way she is willing to share her knowledge with her team to inspire all around her and lead by example,” he explains. “Her talent and can-do attitude are delivered with a smile and a quest to impact the fabric of our profession and the community in a countless way.”

Wigfall joined the firm in 2018 after earning both a Master of Architecture and Master of Urban Planning from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and has since been integral in the planning, design, and management of education and civic projects throughout the southeast. She is an active member of the AIA community as is involved in a number of local and national organizations, including the ACE (Architecture, Construction and Engineering) Mentor Program of the Midlands, AIA Greater Columbia Kids in Architecture Program, and National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA). Wigfall was also a recipient of Mayor Benjamin’s Talented Tenth Inaugural DuBois Fellowship.
