LS3P’S Charleston office recognizes outstanding team members

LS3P congratulates thirteen Charleston team members who were recently recognized for exemplary efforts. Architect Richard Bing, AIA, LEED AP, was elevated to Principal. Bing, who joined the firm in 1996, has developed a diverse portfolio of designs for hospitality, commercial, educational, and institutional designs across the Southeast; he has also developed highly specialized expertise in the design of culinary arts training facilities.

CFO Doug Snyder, CPA, CGMA and Architect Dylan Towe, AIA, CTD, LEED AP were recognized as Associate Principals. Snyder, the firm’s first CFO, joined LS3P in 2015 and has been instrumental in optimizing financial processes. Towe, who joined the firm in 2006, has extensive experience in designs for education, multifamily residential, federal, and campus housing projects at all stages of design and construction.

Architect John Bedell, AIA, LEED AP BD + C; Senior Interior Designer Kelly Gilreath, IIDA, LEED AP, GGP; Kameron King, Assoc. AIA; and Project Accountant Melissa Smith were all recognized as Senior Associates. Bedell, who joined the firm in 2015, works primarily in commercial design; Gilreath, who joined the firm in 2013, provides interiors expertise for a wide variety of project types and specializes in hospitality; King, who joined the firm in 2013, is experienced in designs for commercial, healthcare, and federal clients; and Smith, who joined LS3P in 2010, handles Project Accounting for the firm’s Charleston, Columbia, and Myrtle Beach offices.

Architect Bryan Beerman, AIA, LEED GA; David Quick, Assoc. AIA; Marketing Coordinator Katie Turner; Senior Interior Designer Michelle Hertel; Assistant Controller Mike Ditchfield; and Human Resources Generalist Whitney Stovall were all recognized as Associates. Beerman joined the firm in 2015 and has design experience in the education, civic, and commercial sectors; Quick joined the firm in 2013 and works extensively in the healthcare and higher education markets; Turner joined the firm in 2015 and leads the firm’s practice area marketing efforts; Hertel joined the firm in 2014 and designs interiors for diverse project types; Ditchfield joined the firm in 2015 and is a CPA and Fellow of AICPA; and Stovall joined the firm in 2014 and is instrumental in benefits administration as well as corporate wellness.

Recognitions were announced on May 1, 2017, the firm’s 54th anniversary.
