M. B. Kahn named South Carolina’s Top Contractor

July 16, 2013

COLUMBIA, SC – July 16, 2013 –  For the second year in a row, Engineering News-Record has ranked M. B. Kahn Construction Co., Inc. as the Top Contractor in South Carolina, ranked #1.

The ranking stems from ENR’s annual listing of the nation’s Top 400 general contractors, both publicly and privately held, based on construction contracting-specific revenues. In addition, M. B. Kahn was ranked 24th overall in the Southeast.

The two honors show the dedication and ability of the M. B. Kahn team, said Bill Neely, the company’s president. Some of the company’s Upstate projects in the past 12 months include the reconfiguration of GE’s Test Stand 7 including a railroad extension and new warehouse, the TD Bank Regional Operations Hub, expansions to Bausch & Lomb, and new office space for Windstream in the Landmark Building.

At M. B. Kahn, our first priority is our customers and their projects. That is what matters the most for our business. Neely said. Although it’s nice to be recognized, these rankings are just a byproduct of the hard work and dedication of our people striving to do the best job possible for our clients.
