Main Street Clinton Brings Concert Truck to Town

September 1, 2021

A concert truck? Yes, there is such a thing.

Close your eyes and imagine a 16-foot box truck converted into a fully functioning concert hall.  Hard to imagine? Click here to see it happen.

The Concert Truck brings communities together, making music accessible to all.  Two musicians, pianists Nick Luby and Susan Zhang take their 16-foot box truck, converted into a fully functioning concert hall, on a road trip around the community with two stops a day.

On Sunday, September 26th the Concert Truck, a mobile music venue, will roll into town to provide a delightful classical music concert.

“What an amazing opportunity to collaborate with NOH, CNNGA, and NAFA to bring this concert to beautiful Vance Park,” said Adele Alducin, Main Street Clinton Manager. “We’re excited to host The Concert Truck and bring classical music to our community. “

The Concert Truck has been featured by “Voice of America,” “Minnesota Public Radio,” and “The Washington Post.”

Explore Clinton, Newberry Opera House, Newberry Arts for All, and CNNGA are sponsoring this new music offering. Come out to Vance Park and enjoy a Sunday afternoon of Classical music! Food trucks will be available at the event.
