Make-A-Wish South Carolina to Hold Virtual Wish Ball February 20th

For 35 years, with the support of local communities and volunteers, Make-A-Wish® South Carolina has worked to deliver hope to more than 3,000 kids facing critical illnesses and their families.
Wishes provide hope, and hope has never been more essential.
The theme for Wish Ball 2021 is Igniting Hope Together! Granted wishes of children sick with critical illnesses provides much needed hope. With a dynamic virtual show full of fun, inspiration and heartwarming surprises, Make-A-Wish delivers a powerful front-row seat to the life-changing effect of wishes.
This charitable evening provides guests with a unique chance to witness the incredible effects of wishes and the opportunity to create transformational moments for future SC wish families.
“As a member of the Board of Directors for four years now, I have seen first-hand the great work being done to support the wishes of critically ill children in South Carolina,” said Jeff Tallman.

Tallman, a resident of Clinton and the director of golf at Musgrove Mill has been very active in raising money for the group. Together with his wife, Susan, they have hosted several golf related events and there are plans to do more in the future.
Wish Ball 2021, presented by TrueScripts®, will be airing LIVE on Facebook February 20, 2021 at 6:00 pm. To participate, be sure to RSVP to the Facebook event and invite your friends to watch too.
The event includes an online auction which is open now.
HOW TO BID ON THE AUCTION
The auction is now open! Once registered, click on the “Auction” tab to view and bid on the great selection of items. To bid via text message, simply text SCWishBall to 243725 to register. Then reply to the Wish Ball text with the three-digit item number and your bid in whole dollars. You will receive a text to confirm your bid as well as receive updates on the item(s) you’ve bid on.
The auction will close at 9:00 pm on Saturday, February 20th, so be sure to get your last-minute bids in before it’s too late! Winning bidders will be notified after the auction closes and your card on file will be charged. A Make-A-Wish South Carolina representative will contact you regarding their retrieval.
