Marc Knight joins First Reliance Bank as Relationship Banker

CHARLESTON, SC – Marc Knight has joined First Reliance Bank as a Relationship Banker, for the Charleston, S.C. market. In his new role, he will be reaching out to businesses throughout the area and introducing them to First Reliance Bank’s business products and services.

Knight has spent most of his career in the Charleston market as a leader of both business and civic organizations. His long track record includes successfully leading the Goose Creek, S.C. area commercial lender efforts of Southcoast Community Bank. Prior to that Knight was a commercial loan officer for First Federal of Charleston and a branch manager for National Bank of South Carolina.

Knight has a Bachelor of Arts from Rhodes College, Memphis, TN. He will graduate from South Carolina Bankers School at Lander University this summer, and is a graduate of the NBSC Credit School.

He is a graduate of Leadership Hilton Head Island and is a member of the Goose Creek Rotary Club.
