Marguerite Willis re-Elected to SC Women Lawyers Association Board of Directors

COLUMBIA, SC – February 7, 2008 – Marguerite S. Willis, a Member (partner) in the Columbia office of Nexsen Pruet has been re-elected to the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association (SCWLA).

Her new two-year term will be through 2010. She has been a member of the SCWLA board since 2006.

Willis is a litigator who concentrates her practice in antitrust and complex litigation matters. She is admitted to practice in South Carolina, Florida, North Carolina, and the District of Columbia.

Ms. Willis earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her law degree from Stetson University College of Law.  She is a frequent lecturer on topics including antitrust, class action practice, and law firm marketing.

Ms. Willis is a past president of the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia, and she is currently a trustee for the College of Columbia.

The 700-member SCWLA works to enhance the status, influence, and effectiveness of women lawyers in the State of South Carolina.
