Mark Godfrey Elected Vice Chair USGBC SC Chapter

GREENVILLE, SC – The Board of Directors of USGBC-SC (United States Green Building Council) announced that Mark Godfrey has been elected Vice Chair for 2012 and Chair-Elect for 2013.

Mark Godfrey, an Architect and LEED Accredited Professional (AP), has served in various roles with the SC Chapter over the last five years. Under his leadership, the SC Chapter has broadened its influence and strengthened its role as a leading voice in sustainability. Godfrey graduated from Clemson University with a Masters in Architecture and has been Chair and Vice Chair of the Upstate Branch.

Mark is a leader in the application of sustainable design concepts at McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture. The firm has designed over twenty LEED certified buildings including one LEED Platinum, four LEED Gold and eight LEED Silver projects since the inception of the USGBC rating system was created.
