Marsh/Bell Construction assists D&D Ford with grand opening and 75th anniversary

EASLEY, SC – October 26, 2012 – The Greer-based D&D Ford dealership has officially opened for business by holding an official ceremony last night. The ceremony included a ribbon cutting and 75th anniversary celebration that included presentations by Greer Mayor Rick Danner, Greer Chamber of Commerce President Allen Smith, and from Marsh/Bell Construction President Dwayne Bell. 

Marsh/Bell Construction Company served as the construction manager for the project, which also included the new QuickLane Tire and Service Center. “We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to manage the construction of these facilities. The Davenports are a wonderful family, and they continue to demonstrate their commitment to excellence by offering their customers state-of-the-art facilities,” said Dwayne Bell, president of Marsh/Bell Construction Company, Inc. At the ceremony, Mr. Bell presented a custom plaque to George and Skip Davenport to commemorate the event. The plaque featured the iconic D&D Motors sign. 

The dealership’s new address is 13645 E. Wade Hampton Blvd. in Greer. It has 36,642 square feet and is located on 6.19 acres of land.
