Martin C. Rose, EIT, joins GMK’s Engineering Division

GMK Associates, Inc., announced today that Martin C. Rose, EIT, has joined its Engineering Division as mechanical engineering designer. In this role, Martin will be responsible for creating innovative and cost-effective HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing system designs for healthcare, higher education, governmental, and commercial construction and renovation/upfit project.

Mr. Rose possesses six years of experience in the mechanical engineering and architectural field, with a specific background in design and specification of various Hydronic Chilled Water, VAV, DX, Split, VRF, Hot Water, and Steam Boiler systems. He has proven skills in design development, design QA/QC, and close coordination with Owners and other members of design teams to ensure the highest design efficiency, quality, and system performance. His background includes on-site condition surveys, development of project objectives/goals, and completion of load calculations, mechanical system layouts, and detailed design studies/narratives throughout all design phases. He is further experienced in construction administration services for mechanical system installation, and is well versed in advanced design software such Revit and AutoCAD.

Prior to joining GMK, Mr. Rose gained experience with engineering and architecture firms located in Charleston, SC, as well as the State of New York. He is recognized as an Engineer in Training (EIT) and holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering technology from SUNY College of Technology at Alfred State.
