Mathnasium of Lexington announces new ownership, new location, and grand opening celebration
July 29, 2026Longstanding Lexington math learning center begins new chapter with continued commitment to student confidence and success.
Mathnasium of Lexington is entering an exciting new chapter with a transition in ownership, a new location, and a community celebration planned to welcome families into the center’s future.
Beginning August 1, 2026, Mathnasium of Lexington will transition to new ownership under Ali Kahn, a former Mathnasium parent who understands firsthand the impact the program can have on students and families. Ali’s personal connection to Mathnasium comes from his own family’s experience with the program, including his child’s journey from Mathnasium student to Mathnasium instructor.
“I know the value Mathnasium provides because I have experienced it as a parent,” said Ali Kahn. “I am honored to continue building on the strong foundation that has been created here and look forward to serving Lexington families for years to come.”
The transition marks a new chapter for Mathnasium of Lexington while preserving the relationships, instructional support, and student-centered approach families have come to trust over the past 16 years.
Current owner Annette Sudduth, who has led Mathnasium of Lexington for the past 16 years, will continue serving the center in a new role as Training Manager and Community Relations Manager, while also continuing as a part-time instructor to remain connected with students and families.
“Serving as the owner of Mathnasium of Lexington has been one of the greatest joys of my life,” said Annette Sudduth. “Watching students grow in confidence, independence, and their belief in themselves has been incredibly rewarding. While ownership is changing, my commitment to this Mathnasium family is not ending. I am excited to continue supporting our students, families, and team in this next role.”
The majority of the current instructional team is expected to remain in place, ensuring continued consistency for students as the center moves forward. Student learning plans, progress, and confidence will remain the top priority throughout the transition.
As part of this next chapter, Mathnasium of Lexington will also relocate to a new, larger facility located at:
930 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072
Lexington Towne Centre near Big Air and Goldfish Swim School
The new location will provide families with improved accessibility, easier parking, additional space for students, and an enhanced drop-off and pick-up experience. Instruction is expected to begin at the new location on Monday, August 3, 2026.
“The move represents an opportunity for Mathnasium of Lexington to grow while continuing to provide the personalized instruction and support that families value,” said Kahn. “We are excited to welcome current families, new families, and the Lexington community into this new space.”
To celebrate the transition and introduce the new ownership team, Mathnasium of Lexington will host a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The event will include opportunities for families and community members to tour the new facility, meet the team, and celebrate the next chapter of Mathnasium’s continued commitment to helping students build math confidence.
