Mauldin Allstate Agents Honored for Volunteer Efforts

MAULDIN, SC – October 11, 2010 Mauldin Allstate Insurance Agents Glen Adair, Cary Ostendorff and Rachel Vera have received the Agency Hands in the Community Award for their commitment to volunteering in the community. 

With this award came a pair of $1,000 grants from The Allstate Foundation for United Way of Greenville County Inc. in Mauldin, where Adair and Vera volunteer. With this award came a $1,000 grant from The Allstate Foundation for Diligent Hands Gracious Hearts in Greenville, S.C., where Ostendorff volunteers. 

Glen, Cary and Rachel are active and respected members of the business community, said Allstate’s Southeast Region Assistant Field Vice President John O’Donnell. They all make a point of getting involved personally by dedicating themselves to making a difference in people’s lives.

 Allstate believes that it is very important for corporations to take an active interest in the communities they serve.  Allstate is proud of all three of these agents and their efforts to support United Way of Greenville County Inc. and Diligent Hands Gracious Hearts through the Allstate Foundation, concluded O’Donnell.
